If you are lucky enough to win a jackpot prize you are in an exclusive and rare club. However the chances of you winning the lottery twice is just about a sign from above that someone is watching over you.

This is exactly what happened to 69 year- old Quebecer Jules Parent who foe the second time in nine years has won $1 million playing the lottery.

In an interview Parent reacted to this freak occurrence and said,” I know very well that the probability of winning is extremely small and winning twice in a relatively short time is really something else.”

Parent won a cool $1,222,069 after winning the jackpot playing the Crown of Egypt lottery online. This follows his previous $1 million jackpot he won in 2008 playing Lotto 6-49.

Parent’s latest win came after he played $3.20 with the chances of winning being one in 23,437,500. His odds for winning Lotto 6-49 were one in fourteen million. Parent was pretty relaxed about his win and said “I don’t know who did this” hinting to a power above. He went on to ask what many are wondering, Was I born under a good star?”

Parent lives alone and is retired without kids said he plans to continue playing the same amount he plays now.

He said,” I’m retired so it helps me pass the time. Just like any other game of chance, sometimes you win and, other times, unfortunately, you head home with less money.” With his new jackpot win Parent plans on demolishing his old home and building a new on but adding it will be a modest home and not a castle.
