Koolbit Enters Real Money Gambling Arena With iGoSlots

With social casino games generating an estimated $3 billion and real money online gambling over $44 billion, it is no surprise that many are looking to make the changeover. We have followed many of the new social casino up and comers who are making waves. Many of the new startups are headed by traditional gambling executives like that of Gerard Cunningham of Betfair who founded social gaming company Koolbit in 2011.

Along with social casino gaming, mobile is seen as the largest area of growth in the online gambling world. Koolbit have made their move into the real money gambling market by launching a full suite of real money gambling games on their new website iGOSlots.com. The games are available on the mobile platform as well as the Web. Koolbit have partnered up with Cozy Games and is operating under a gambling license from the Isle of Man. The games on offer include slots, bingo, video poker, roulette and scratch cards.

Cunningham stated that while they have only been offering social casino games for nine months, their new real money gambling site will make then the biggest real-money mobile casino network with 25 games.

Koolbit will still offer their free-to-play City Slots with its suite of casino games where players get to play with virtual currency. Initially iGOSlots will be available in the United Kingdom This is in line with other major players like that of Bingo Friendzy and Big Fish games who also chose the U.K. as the ideal testing ground for other regions when it becomes legal. There is no doubt the social casino gaming companies are facing increasing pressure from new comers and each other. Where not too long ago social gaming giants like Zynga had much of the market for themselves, it has now become a highly competitive market where traditional gambling powerhouses are merging the worlds of social and real money gambling.
