GameHouse Enters Lucrative Social Casino Gaming Arena

With social casino games purported to be worth over $2.5 billion it is no surprise that many gaming companies are looking to do the changeover from traditional games. We recently reported on the incredible success of IGT through their DoubleDown acquisition and Caesars with their Playtika purchase.

The newest gaming house to make an entry into social casino games is that of GameHouse. President of GameHouse Matt Hullet announced today that they are launching their GameHouse Casino on Facebook and launching their GameHouse Slots for the iPhone platform.

To accomplish this changeover they have diverted 100 of their employees to create a social casino suite. Their aim is to create a high-class experience where you feel you are at the big hotel”, Mullet stated.

Despite need to play a bit of catch up to veterans like IGT with their Double Down Casino there is still room for new players in this growing market. GameHouse are offering over 12 casino based games on their Casino app on Facebook. They include everything from slots, video poker, roulette, blackjack and others.

Industry experts are quick to point out the fact that social casino games have a 50% higher monetization rate than regular games. While Hullet is quick to point out that social aspect is what makes these casino games fun. There is no doubt that players like GameHouse have their focus on real money gambling as well.

As we have reported extensively major social gaming companies like Zynga are well on their way to cashing in the real money gambling market which make social casino games look like child’s play. We look forward to a year where many more social casino games will offer players the chance to get a taste of the real thing.
