Florida Lottery Scratchies Breaking Records

Scratch Cards have become an integral part of many lotteries worldwide. In the U.S. the Florida Lottery has announced that it has broken a scratch ticket record which  was around for 25 years. According to the Florida Lottery sales of scratchies ending Feb. 17 exceeded over $64.7 million which broke last week’s amount of $63 million.

In a statement from Florida Lottery Secretary Cynthia O’ Connell she stated their delight to see the public’s response to their scratch games. Like many other lotteries proceeds from the Florida Lottery go towards education which means that the public get the chance to win cash while helping their very community.

Currently over 60% of the entire Florida lottery ticket sales are made up from scratch tickets. They offer over 60 different scratchies which are available at over 13000 retailers nationwide.With scratch tickets gaining in popularity it is no wonder that their online versions are some of the most popular choices for those looking to gamble online.
