Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the global financial serviced company Cantor Fitzgerald has received a license approval to operate the race and sportsbook at the Palms Casino Resort from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Las Vegas based Cantor Gaming stated that it is committed to building a state of the art sportsbook and race with the latest technology which include mobile sports wagering and proprietary gaming system.

The construction is set to commence in April and be completed in time for the 2012 National Football League. Until the construction is completed Cantor Gaming will operate a sports-only book near the Mint High Limit Lounge which is located on the Palms’ main floor from February 7.

CEO of Cantor Gambling Lee Amaitis expressed his optimism for the future plans,” We are delighted to have received regulatory approval quickly, enabling us to operate at the Palms in time for ‘March Madness’, which is an exciting period for sports betting patrons. “We look forward to working with the Palms and unveiling a spectacular new sportsbook later this year that will offer sportsbetting fans a luxury first-class betting experience.”
